The Animal Instincts is devoted to vertebrates: fish, reptiles, birds, and us mammals. The title song teaches about the instinctual abilities that help to keep animals alive. "Something's Fishy" plunges us into some fishy places: lakes, rivers, streams, and oceans, to be exact. In these "watering holes," you're bound to see something fishy going on. In "The Reptile Style," our scaly reptile friends (alligators, turtles, lizards, and snakes ... well, at least some of them are our friends!) take center stage. "For the Birds" celebrates wings, nests, eggs, and feathers ... the world of the birds. And finally, "M.A.M.M.A.L.S." spells out what makes the hairiest vertebrates so special.
