The Reptile Style
[ GB010 ]

Green Bean celebrates its 10th musical in style … The Reptile Style, that is. Alligators, turtles, lizards, and snakes all receive their own uniquely styled songs in this exploration of the world of reptiles. "The Reptile Style" opens the show with a glimpse into to the lives of each of the four main reptile families. In "The Alligator Blues," we promise the largest reptiles that "We won't eat any alligator stew." The slow-moving, cricket-chomping turtle is admired in the appropriately lackadaisical "There's A Turtle." In "When You're A Lizard," we imagine living the lizard's lifestyle, spending our days basking in the sun, licking the air, and utilizing our Jacobsen's Organ to sense what's in front of us. Finally, we take a look at the lives of "Slithering Snakes," discovering that "as they grow, they shed their scales, and get new skin from their heads down to their tails!"
